It’s what drew many of the young men who became “mountain men” in the 1800’s to that lifestyle.

The promise of “independence and no authority” is pretty darn appealing.

I could see where that would be a strong draw.

I wonder how many people jump into something just because they don’t want to be put down BY THE MAN?

What weird things do many of us do with the promise of independence and no authority in our future?
