“to love”….is not a suggestion

Here’s a question: why is it so hard for all of us to figure this out?

That “to love each other” isn’t a suggestion….it’s a commandment.

I’m not so good at loving.

I’m better at reacting “in kind”….and I don’t mean that I always react with kindness.

I give back what I’m given….usually.

That’s not good.

I should be a mirror that lets people see how good and kind they are…or could be.

I should rise.

When am I going to figure out how to do that?

This is a great sermon….
