I’ve seen some wonderful things in my life….and….this was one of them.

Aretha Franklin….at the 1998 Grammy Awards….filling in at the last minute for an ailing Luciano Pavarotti….singing Nessun Dorma from the Opera Turandot.

Aretha passed away this morning at 76.
