I didn’t realize that Mike Oehler, author of “The Fifty Dollar and Up Underground House Book”, built his homes in Northern Idaho.

Who knew?

Maybe I should have known that if I’d read his book more carefully?

From the description in the video, it sounds like he’s doing it somewhere around where my father lived for a time.

I don’t think that I want to move my family into an underground house….even if it makes a lot of sense.

Something about being down in the dark, maybe.

Maybe I just think that I couldn’t convince my family to live like moles.

Maybe I should read the book again and get over my preconceptions about underground houses?

Maybe if I only had $50 I’d try it….it might be a good way to go if I only had $50.

There are some pretty creative people in the world….and this guy’s book has been in print forever.

And….he’s in IDAHO.

How come the cool people are out in Idaho?
