Good grief….Jesse Winchester was a good songwriter.

I really appreciated his gentle style.

He passed away last year.

There is something so good about the genuine in this world of flash and lack of substance.

The thing that turns our head is so often the noise and the garish presentation….but it’s this quiet, solid stuff that stays with me.

I’m glad that Jesse Winchester was around for a while.
