I don’t know if Jenny introducing me would fly.
We’re a unit.
When we go out on stage, somebody better introduce us as a team.
Funny.
Funny strange.
Here’s a video where a young couple explain how they travel all the time with their kids.
They have a YouTube channel called “The Bucket List Family“.
One of the key points that was made early on is that if you start a company, design an app called “Scan” and then sell it for 54 million dollars….you can travel full time.
They don’t say this, but…it makes sense.
That may be a component in their ability to do this.
That helped me to understand how they’re doing this.
And….be a Mormon.
That may come into play, too.
I’m not sure.
I think that the chunk of change must have something to do with it.
So…if I was a rich Mormon, I’d say, “OK…let’s go.”
I could say that it’s time to go right now, too….but our experience might be a tiny bit less comfortable.
I wonder if 54 million dollars would make a difference?
Here’s the YouTube description:
Last year we spoke in front of the students at Brigham Young University and shared our story on how we became a full-time traveling family. Garrett shared some of his entrepreneurial journey and how he acquired the skills to start a tech company and eventually became a travel journalist
This guy had some skills that allowed his family to do this.
He’s not a trust fund dude.
He earned their situation.
Good for you!!
This is a good talk about entrepreneurship, too….it’s an interesting journey that brought this family to this place.
I will bet that this guy could figure out a way to do this even if he wasn’t a millionaire….
