Heard this today….a jazz version of the Allman Brothers’ song “Whipping Post”.

Good stuff.

I listened to a lot of Allman Brothers in High School….usually with limited interest.

I liked them…but I was more of a “Beatles guy”.

What a great band.

I guess that I resented living in the south and being “subjected” to Southern Rock….just because I lived in the south.

I was wrong to think that.

The Almanns were a jazz band.

Duane was like Coltrane.
