You can get a lot for your money if you invest some time and effort and buy your materials carefully.
Of course, I suspect that the “8,000” doesn’t cover the riverfront lot.
But…you can have a simple and nice place for a small amount of cash if you work at it.

I had a simple and quick post yesterday for my birthday, and, for some reason, it didn’t get posted.
So…..that’s (for the folks who are keeping track) 3 posts out of over a thousand that I’ve missed.
A post a day can be kind of a ridiculous goal….but I do it to try and stay consistent.
It’s a house of cards in a windy room for me to stay consistent with any of this stuff.
So….a missed day because a button isn’t pushed….or because I didn’t watch the computer to it’s attempted conclusion….is kind of a drag.
To me.
It’s a drag to me.
I don’t think that anybody else notices.
I had a really nice birthday…..tacos and a chocolate cake with a boiled fudge frosting. (Boiled fudge! That’s not easy to do and is pretty delicious.)
I like the low key birthdays.
Even if it means missing a post.

And, it was on the “coolish side”, probably in the 60’s, so ,when I got wet, I got chilly.

That’s what delivering the mail is all about…..snow and sleet and rain, etc.
I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to say the phrase, “our first sail on our new yacht.”
That would be crazy to be able to say that.
When I’m in a cold Spring mail run day, I think it would be nice to be cruising out in the Caribbean.
Yesterday, I was just trying to push through to the end, but, this morning, I’m watching a video about sailing around and it all looks pretty good.
Where I am is good.
I have a great life with my family.
I think that it would be fun to do some sailing.
I’ll add that to my list.
